United Personnel is seeking a sheet metal fabricator for a client in East Longmeadow. This is your chance to join an ever-growing industry! Opportunity for overtime! Temp-to-Hire!

Responsibilities:

• Stage small production runs or batches by gathering raw material for forming into parts. Raw material is first cut according to patterns.


• Operate machines to cut, shape, and form light gauge sheet metal into duct fittings


• Machine operation includes, sheers, brakes, presses, riveters, roll-forming locks, such the Pittsburgh lock, spot welder, air hammer and a variety of hand tools.


• Work must be conducted safely and efficiently. A focused, methodical approach strikes the balance.

• Dependable and punctual attendance is essential to keep production on schedule


• Must be able to stand for the duration of the day to perform sheet metal working tasks.


• Must be able to lift, push and pull modest weights freely all day.


• Must know how to read a tape measure, perform basic math accurately and write legibly.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday

8am-4:30pm

Pay: 

$17-18/Hour
