Job Description :
Our client in Springfield is looking to add a quality analyst to it's growing team. This position will be temporally 100% remote.
The job responsibilities include:
- Conducting Manual testing including regression testing, smoke testing with various new builds
- Execute test cases based on analysis of system enhancements
- Prioritize and sequence test procedures and test cases, validating environments are set and tests are run
- Execute test objectives and test activities to meet business/project objectives
- Assess test execution against defined objectives and summarize test results for stakeholders
- Create, test cases based on provided requirements
- Research and resolve Production Support cases
- Defect reporting
- Assist QA Manager on the creation and on-going development of an automated testing framework
- Actively collaborate with QA Manager, project resources, business partners, project managers, and other subject matter experts across different teams.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or equivalent
- 0 - 4 years of relevant QA technical experience
- Basic understanding of Object-Oriented Principles, or coding experiences on any modern Programming language
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Preferred experience in health insurance, companies offering group & voluntary products
- Understanding and experience with different SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
- Familiarity or experience with working within an Agile Scrum team
- Familiarity with modern CI/CD approach of development
- Familiarity with TDD or BDD approach
- Selenium experience is a plus
