Job Description :
United Personnel is seeking a temporary HR Coordinator to assist a local manufacturer in Greenfield with project based work. This is a part-time or full-time position (30-40 hours/week) dependent on candidate availability and is expected to run for approximately 3 months. The ideal candidate will have HR experience, recruitment knowledge, and a high level of confidentiality. 



The Human Resources Coordinator provides assistance with and facilitates the
human resource process at their respective location(s) and is expected to
maintain proper handling of all confidential information. The Human Resources
Coordinator ensures programs and processes are administered in accordance
with federal, state and local laws and regulations and that plan provisions
and company policies and procedures are followed. This role supports tactical
HR tasks and provides administrative support to the human resources function
and leader as needed including record keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS
entry.


Primary Responsibilities:
• Assists with recruiting, job postings and scheduling interviews. Tracks
status of candidates in HRIS.
• Maintain confidentiality with regards to knowledge of employee and
business information.
• Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and
questions.
• Administers processes in the employee life cycle including management and
maintenance of personnel files related to hiring, performance management,
benefits, training and termination in accordance with policies and
procedures.
• Data integrity of employee data with regards to personal information,
payroll, benefits or other information.
• Schedules meetings and appropriate travel as requested by HR leadership.
• Makes photocopies, faxes documents, delivers mail and packages and
performs other clerical functions.
• Assists or prepares correspondence and information for dissemination to
the employees.
• Support and participate in community involvement and employee engagement
projects.
• Assist with payroll, safety programs, shipping function, purchasing,
accounting tasks, facilities vendors, customer service, receptionist and
quality initiatives, if applicable.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications :
Education/Certifications:
Bachelors’ in business or public administration, human resources, or a
related field with up to 2 years experience working in human resources,
benefits or administration or any equivalent combination of education and
experience.

Required Skills:
• Common knowledge of Human Resources, organizational and management
practices as applied to the analysis and evaluation of programs, policies,
and operational needs
• Applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations
• Recordkeeping principles and procedures
• Detail oriented with multi-tasking and organizational/prioritization
skills
• Proven ability to work with highly confidential data with a high level of
professionalism
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and an HRIS system
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
