Gift Entry Coordinator/Advancement Services

Job Description :
United Personnel is seeking a Gift Entry Coordinator for a long term temporary project in Deerfield! This position is looking to start ASAP. Pay ranging from $18 - $20/hour

 

Job duties include:


• Analyzing, preparing and entering donations accurately and efficiently to help ensure proper donor credit and gift accounting


• Research donors, complete and submit matching gift requests and value stock gifts based upon information from the Finance Office accurately and efficiently to help ensure proper donor credit and gift accounting


• Feed gift transactions to the general ledger and provide feed reports to the Finance Office in a timely manner to maintain interoffice communication


• Maintain online recurring and ongoing donations including failed and suspended credit card transactions accurately


• Update and maintain accurate files for the Auditors and the Office of Advancement to help protect the Academy’s 501(c)3 status 





  • Maintain name and address records for multiple Academy constituencies to ensure the highest degree of data integrity and accuracy, including biographical data gleaned from alumni surveys, online directories and other sources


•     Research problems including identifying and resolving data discrepancies, constituents reported as lost, deceased, or newly found, and performing follow-up correspondence as necessary efficiently and accurately 





 

 
Required Qualifications :

Job Specifications:


Completion of 12th grade or equivalent


• Basic bookkeeping knowledge


• Working knowledge of a professional office environment


• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, data entry, and with integrated databases


• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills

• Ability to manage, and sensitivity to, highly confidential information
