Job Description :
Seeking for a front desk admin/receptionist for role starting late August 2022 until November 2022. Pay rate $16.50/hr



Customer service skills – Position has a high level of interaction with faculty, staff, vendors and contractors. Good communication skills are critical.  Will greet and assist as needed, log-in visitors, and direct on policies and procedures of the department. Assign keys to contractors or call on radio for maintainers in building to open door or area. Keys must be signed out and returned.  Key list is inside key box.  Drop box outside for after 2:30 pm. Communicates repeatedly, daily with all trades.

Ability to work under pressure, using sound judgement - Receives incoming calls regarding issues with campus buildings and grounds and appropriately determines level of response. Must be able handle urgent requests, safety concern requests and people under stress due to circumstances beyond their control. Appropriately interprets need for elevated response on elevator entrapments, slip/fall hazards, fumes, leaks and noise complaints etc.

Required Qualifications :

·         Excellent customer service skills.  Must be personable.

·         Ability to exercise good judgement and work under pressure

·         Phone skills and ability to use two-way radio system

·         Computer skills including email, word processing, spreadsheets, software

·         Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision

·         Follow oral and written directions

·         Must be able to work in a diverse college setting

·         Office skills, copy, attach, scan, file, process mail
