Job Description :
United Personnel is seeking an Event Registration Assistant for a temporary opening with a client based in Turners Falls, MA. 

 

Length: Potential to become permanent

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm 

Pay: $16.41/hour

 


The Registration Assistant is responsible for managing registration processes that allow customers to register for advertised events quickly and efficiently. This position is also responsible for internal processes for recording and tracking registration numbers, managing registration information for processing, and liaising with other departments to communicate updates and status changes. The Registration Assistant tracks data and provides information to the event team and the Director.



PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Monitor and record registrations for all CRS events and provide updates to other team members, marketing department, and Director

  • Works with Director to create and update all registration processes for customers and CRS staff

  • Writes internal and customer-facing registration communications (confirmation emails, notification emails, registration updates to internal stakeholders)

  • Use SalesForce reports to analyze registration trends and provide information to support Directors in making decisions about when to add/cut sections at events

  • Reconcile attendance for each CRS event to ensure registration lists are accurate, payments are received, and all participants have certificates

  • Problem solve registration and attendance issues with CRS event logistic workers

  • Create and disseminate registration paperwork (in-house registration forms, credit/refund approval form, on-site registration form)

  • Receives, reviews, and manages registration forms and paperwork to ensure CRS and customers have what they need for timely registration for events.

  • Oversee and maintain waitlists for CRS events and create communication plan for those on the list


Required Qualifications :

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:



  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an office setting, preferably in sales, event registration, or customer service

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to trouble shoot and problem solve 

  • Flexibility and adaptability to unexpected demands a must

  • Ability to provide high quality customer service via phone and email

  • Highly accurate and fast data entry

  • Highly organized

  • Ability to work with autonomy

  • High attention to detail

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite

  • Experience using Salesforce and Netsuite is a plus

  • Demonstrated interest in the organization’s mission

  • Regular and reliable attendance
