Job Description :



Our Mechanical Technician’s Production activities include PCBA manufacturing (SMT & thru-hole hand solder), automated SMT equipment operation, inspection, test, rework, and final level electro-mechanical assemblies. Operational activities include assisting with BOMs, inventory management, order fulfillment, and the development and support of manufacturing process, fixtures, tooling and equipment.

Required Qualifications :

Salary:  $16 to $21per hour plus benefits 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Assemble, troubleshoot and repair embedded electronic controls
* Solder thru-hole and surface mount components to IPC 610
* Inspect solder to IPC 610
* Perform routine tests on finished assemblies and sub-assemblies
* Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics and test equipment
* Download application firmware to programmable devices
* Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, and test fixtures
* Analyze circuits and assist in the design of test fixtures
* Continuous process improvement
* Work closely with design engineering to assemble prototypes
* Ensure good quality and maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
* Directly train other employees as required
* Perform duties of inventory management as required

Position Requirements:

* Minimum 3+ years of soldering assembly in a production environment or Associate Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electronics Technology or equivalent
* Ability to troubleshoot to component level on digital and analog circuits
* Experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
* IPC-A-610 and/or IPC 7711/7721 certification (current or past) Huge Plus
* Demonstrable microscope soldering skills of surface mount components
* Familiarity with programmable devices, reading electrical/electronic schematics and mechanical drawings
* Comfortable with computers
