Are you passionate about stewardship and working with donors and development teams? Are you seeking a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where you can utilize your experience to manage and analyze data to lead program success? Your database expertise, problem solving skills, and ability to track key analytics to drive effective donor stewardship are needed at the Community Foundation of Western Mass!

The Community Foundation has created a new position of Development Coordinator to support its development team in a time of change and growth. This position will build upon the current achievements of the team by conducting data analysis, developing and implementing donor strategies through moves management, and developing systems to ensure donor data is collected and accurate. The Development Coordinator will work closely with the Director, Philanthropy Officer and Donor Engagement Coordinator, as well as the Vice President for Philanthropic Services, the Program Assistant, and the Director of Communications. This position will regularly work with staff in departments throughout the Foundation as well as volunteers, and directly with fundholders/donors.

Required Qualifications :
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience in philanthropy or database management. Prior development administration experience and conceptual understanding of the development process is also preferred. Other key requirements include: experience with constituent relationship management database experience, Foundant preferred; intermediate to advanced expertise in MS Office; ability to multitask and communicate with all levels of the organization through both written and verbal communications; detail oriented and timeline driven; keen problem-solving skills; project management experience a plus!
