Job Description :
United Personnel is seeking a Customer Service Representative with Print experience for a client in Enfield, CT! This temp to hire opportunity is 8a-5p Monday - Friday ranging from $25-$30/hour.


Excellent company with room for growth within. Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Print and/or Customer Service in the Direct Mail or Print Industry


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a positive work atmosphere and communicates in a professional manner with customers, vendors, co-workers, and supervisors.

  • Communicates with customers and vendors via phone, e-mail, fax and in person for both on-site and off-site visits as required.

  • Maintains detailed Client & Vendor Profiles that include contact information and any specific requests.

  • Uses multi-tasking skills to manage multiple projects at various stages in the production processes and to assure that client schedules and expectations are met by maintaining a detailed and updated schedule of all ongoing jobs.

  • Oversees the competitive bid and negotiation process with vendors and suppliers that perform print jobs for direct mail, seasonal promotions, sales collateral, and other printed media. Regularly research new vendor options that suit our print needs.

  • Advises internal and external clients on printing projects and recommends cost effective options. Understands the capabilities of our equipment to upsell when possible.

  • Ability to use Adobe and InDesign to manipulate client files to ensure they are print ready.

Required Qualifications :

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and InDesign. Excellent interpersonal skills, high standards for work quality, motivated, organized, and reliable.
