Job Description :
United Personnel is seeking a mid-level Communications Manager for a local Association Management Company (AMC) in downtown Springfield that performs daily operational services for local and national clients, including professional societies, trade associations, and non-profit organizations. The environment is high energy and fast-paced, quirky and has a good sense of humor. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, flexible high-achiever to join the communications team.




What you’ll do: 


 


We expect you’ll wow us with your passion for propelling a brand’s image through consistent messaging and strategy. You will be responsible to manage both internal and external communication campaigns for our company as well as our clients. You’ll be willing, eager, and comfortable to liaise with internal and external partners including team members, clients, board members, media, and community partners alike to help develop, coordinate, and execute integrated and multi-channel campaign strategies. Your superior writing skills will be complimented by your analytical mindset, and you'll feel engaged by the diversity of subject matters and variety of industries we serve. 




Some of your responsibilities will include: 



  • Develop and implement marketing and communications campaigns and strategies for internal and external clients and monitor their success, ensuring all messaging is consistent and engaging 

  • Manage client projects serving as liaison to coordinate logistics and ensure the delivery of integrated campaign/project with excellent customer service 

  • Prepare detailed media reports, press releases, other publications, blogs, and various marketing materials 

  • Write, design, and schedule emails and newsletters using Constant Contact and Mail Chimp 

  • Create internal communications protocols and initiatives that will foster employee moral 

  • Oversee marketing and communications collateral to ensure that it is consistent with each client's brand, including white papers, website copy, print materials, and more 

  • Responsible for social media campaign management, writing and providing guidance on content, imagery/graphics, and target audiences 

  • Manage social media advertising campaigns, tracking, and analysis 

  • Define key performance indicators for each communication channel which will indicate a campaign's level of success  

  • Review digital analytics reports and present findings and offer ongoing suggestions based on best practices 

  • Responsible to identify and schedule resources throughout company 

  • Research industry specific content and plan annual marketing and messaging initiatives including membership and consumer campaigns 

  • Support business development activities including presentations, proposals, and other written copy 

  • Represent company/clients at virtual and in-person events 

  • Develop and execute communication plans leveraging marketing automation 

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and clients 

  • Update website content, design and layout (Wordpress knowledge a plus) 

  • Serve as a team player and fill in wherever is needed 


 


Required Qualifications :

Qualifications: 



  • At least 4-5 years’ experience in professional communications/marketing roles 

  • Experience managing communication and marketing campaigns across multiple platforms including print and digital 

  • Degree in communications, marketing, pr, or related field 

  • Proven success creating and executing marketing and communications strategies and campaigns 

  • Up to date on industry trends and eagerness to stay ahead of the curve 

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to meet deadlines 

  • Ability to think analytically and strategically 

  • Capable of working well as part of a team as well as independently 

  • Superior multitasker and capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects with competing deadlines 

  • Strong mindfulness around brand integrity, voice, and storytelling 


Note, our client is currently working remotely however, candidates should be available and able to commute to Springfield, MA full-time when deemed safe to do so.
