Talent Acquisition Consultant
Baystate Health is seeking an experienced talent acquisition professional to serve as a consultant to our IT and Corporate areas. Our team of TA Consultants are the subject matter experts in sourcing and assessing talent in the external marketplace; they work with our hiring managers in ensuring they have the right talent in the right places, at the right time. Our work is important; whether hiring for support functions or patient care areas, we ensure all candidates understand our organization’s mission and vision, and commitment to quality care for our patients.
What You Will Do:
The Talent Acquisition Consultant III partners collaboratively with cross functional areas of Information/Technology and Corporate groups (Marketing, finance, legal, HR, etc) to implement a comprehensive talent acquisition plan for these groups. TA Consultant assists in developing both short and long term talent acquisition strategies and is experienced in creating and implementing sourcing strategies across these multiple disciplines.
Must understand EEO and Diversity initiatives and contribute to robust pipeline development across special interest groups. Understands and uses metrics to analyze own results and course corrects as needed. Integrates employment branding as a regular part of daily work. Manages the candidate expectations from initial contact through hiring stage, and oversees their on-boarding thru the first 90 days of employment.
Ensures hiring managers and candidates understand both process and outcomes. Implements initiatives and projects directed at improving service to internal and external customers. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks, adherence to procedure and protocols essential.
What You Will Need:
The requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of demonstrated professional HR and/or recruiting experience. Healthcare experience preferred. Experience in lieu of education will be appropriately considered with the caveat that the level may be adjusted accordingly.
