Job Description :

The Manufacturing Logistics Specialist supports Operational and Financial Performance by closely monitoring production activity in SAP. This includes ensuring accurate data is provided to Production and Finance for Production and Cost tracking and planning. Additionally, this position supports the accurate and timely tracking of worked and non-worked time for our Union workforce.

This position is an Entry Level Position on 2nd shift. In this highly interactive opportunity, your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing time tickets from Production, Rework and Repack orders

  • Calculating labor hours and accurately and timely entering information in SAP

  • Running daily workforce attendance reports, reviewing data with Shop Floor Supervisors and editing timekeeping data as required to ensure employees are properly paid

  • Verifying receipt of packing slips against delivery logs and posting goods receipts in SAP

  • Actively participating in inventory accuracy initiatives including Warehouse Cycle Counts and data searches

  • Generating weekly reports, including inventory level status reports

  • Processing warehouse transactions in SAP and securing transaction approvals when required

  • Maintaining Manufacturing Logistics reports and records

  • Resolving moderately complex receiving or material issuance concerns in SAP

  • Maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with business partners and internal customers

Required Qualifications :

To be successful in this position, we are seeking candidates who have:

  • At least 3 years’ experience working in a high-volume manufacturing or warehouse environment in a warehouse/receiving role

  • Hands on experience with an ERP System, preferably SAP Warehouse Management Systems

  • A working knowledge of ADP (or similar timekeeping system such as Kronos)

  • A results oriented mindset to complete tasks timely with a high degree of accuracy and meet deadlines

  • Good data entry / computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision

  • Excellent oral/written communications skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with every position level
