Job Description :
 The Facilities Maintenance Tech will be responsible of all work necessary to operate, install, overhaul, maintain, alter, repair and remove a variety of equipment in areas assigned to the facility including energy and utility systems. This includes all aspects of physical plant maintenance and grounds, all production equipment, repairs and predictive maintenance, and requires close collaboration with manufacturing Engineering, supervision and other facilities mechanics, trades people and machine operators. This position performs these duties on equipment such as, but not limited to high-pressure boilers, compressors, auxiliary equipment, distribution systems components and manufacturing machinery. Work with production operators and facilities employees to define and improve the preventive maintenance programs across Manufacturing. Communicate shift performance and issues status to lead or supervisor for provision to in-coming shift(s). Properly maintain tools and equipment and maintain a safe, clean and comfortable work environment
Required Qualifications :

• Relevant Apprenticeship Program, Associates Degree or Certificate preferred


• Strong math skills


• Work from complex schematics and technical materials


• 5-10 years experience in Manufacturing and Industrial background


• Knowledge of machining tools and processes


• Computer and Systems experience to include experience with robotic assembly equipment and PLC and experience with reading electrical and mechanical P&ID


• Flexibility to work odd hours, overtime and alternate shifts


• Ability to adjust to modified priorities and assignments to meet new and changing needs


Ideal candidate must be able to work with graphite, chemicals and insulation materials. Light physical effort required to check out, service and repair control systems where a large portion of time is spent checking operating parameters and diagnosing systems. Moderate to heavy effort required to carry and set up equipment. Hand and clothing become dirty. Occasionally work in confined spaces and in cramped and awkward positions. May be required to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to be fitted for safety harness for aerial work and able to seek assistance when required to lift over 35 pounds. Will troubleshoot and repair of electromechanical equipment, hydraulic presses, CNC machining centers and other industrial equipment.
